ABOUT THE SERIES

Starting in 2011 photographer Michael Falco began a four-year journey to explore what remains fo America’s Civil War Landscape. Following the timeline of the conflict Falco visited the war’s famous battlefields and became a re-enactor to embed with the scores of Americans who embrace this history and continue to celebrate their DNA ties to this seminal period in the country’s history.
