ECHOES OF THE CIVIL WAR
From 2011 to 2015, I scoured the country in search of Americaʼs Civil War landscape. What I discovered was not only the pristinely preserved battlefields, but a profound DNA connection to this period that runs through the country to this day.
Reenactments of the warʼs famous battles have been refought year after year since the conflict officially ended in 1865.
